7625 Main Street
7625 Main Street is the address of Farm & Home Service, Inc. at the entrance of the Town of Sykesville, seen here in a staff photo from 2025.
The structure at 7625 Main Street is a non-contributing building within Sykesville's Historic District.
History
This structure has always served as the Farm and Home Service Inc. building (part of Southern States Cooperative Agency.). The structure was built in 1974 after a restructuring of leadership within Farm and Home Services. In the 1940s, Farm and Home Services Inc. held products in buildings near the railway station for transport. The warehouse facility at 729 Oklahoma Avenue was another part of the complex.
